Have I ever released more than one chapter in a single month, let alone a double release? I don't think so. But I really want to finish this series by the end of the year, and I'll overcome my crippling procrastination to do it.

I decided to release these chapters together because they have a really similar format, and to be honest they feel kind of like filler chapters. The last 3 chapters are actually vaguely interconnected, so look forward to those later this month.

Kyou wo Aruku Chapter 8

Well, this has been a long time coming. I did the first page at the very beginning of October, and it took me 2 months to do the rest of them... In my defense, I've been working on other projects (and also procrastinating a lot, I'll admit). Anyways, sometime in August I told myself that I'd finish this series by Christmas. Well, I procrastinated so hard that it'll be much more difficult to do than it could've been, but I know that I can do it. The last chapter will just have to come out on New Year's, rather than Christmas.

Kyou wo Aruku Chapter 7

I started this chapter at the end of January, but shelved it for a while because of other projects (also I was lazy, as usual). Kyou wo Aruku ended in late February at 13 chapters. The compiled volume came out in March, and I have it in my possession. It contains a new afterword by the author, which I might translate.

June 29th, 2014 was in fact a Sunday. If the talk about the tsunami wasn't proof enough, this should convince you that Kyou wo Aruku is an autobiographical manga.

It's been half a year since my last release. I'm not dead, just very lazy. Chapter 10 was just published last week, so I have my work cut out for me. I already have chapter 6 translated, so we'll see if I get it done a little more punctually.

Kyou wo Aruku Chapter 4

I actually finished translating this the day it came out, almost three weeks ago. As you can tell, redrawing is not my thing. I realized about halfway into editing the chapter that I've been saving every page in RGB Color. Converting it into grayscale cuts the file size in half, so I think I've learned my lesson. I also decided to lay off of the hyphens, which I had been using excessively. I was trying really hard to make pretty word shapes, but hyphens make things hard to read. Well, I'm still a novice, so I have a lot to learn before I can play with the big boys.

In this chapter we're introduced to a woman who walks about as much as our main character. Are we going to see some romance between the two? No, of course not!

Kyou wo Aruku Chapter 3

Finally, the long-overdue third chapter of Kyou wo Aruku. I finished translating this less than a week after it came out, but real life "got in the way." Well, this is just a hobby for me, so real life takes priority. I've got more time now, so we'll see how things go.

No picture from the comic itself this time, because there weren't any good large panels. Those cat repelling water bottles do make an appearance, though. As you can see, I don't think they work.
